Town To Sea Trail

Walk Colchester's latest public art trail, The Town To Sea Trail, for local people and visitors.
The Trail, from its start in Colchester Town Centre to its end at The Swinging Basin on the quayside of the River Colne in the Hythe, meanders through a varied landscape. One significant section contains Moorland and is an important site of nature conservation. Elsewhere, remnants of Colchester's industrial heritage is in evidence. The journey ends on the recently developed Hythe Quay. the Journey is linked together by 14 artworks on the way the artworks are approx 3.5m tall and made of Galvanised mild steel.
